Program Operations Coordinator
OUT Maine is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Program Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. The Program Operations Coordinator ensures OUT Maine’s programs run smoothly by managing multiple projects, organizing logistics for events and training, tracking program data, and supporting community partnerships. This role requires strong project management skills and a commitment to creating affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth.

Qualifications
- Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree + 2-3 years of experience OR 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Project Management Experience – Ability to manage multiple projects, track deadlines, and use project management tools like Asana.
- Organizational & Logistics Skills – Strong attention to detail for coordinating events, registrations, and program materials.
- Data Tracking & Reporting – Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data to support evaluation and grant requirements.
- Communication & Collaboration – Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse partners, including youth, educators, and community organizations.
- Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – Passion for supporting LGBTQ+ youth and fostering inclusive spaces.
- Ability to Work Independently & in a Team – Comfortable balancing tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Technology Proficiency – Experience with project management software (e.g, Asana), MS Office & Google Workspace, and Database systems (e.g., CampSite) is preferred.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position that can be based in Rockland or as a hybrid remote position with required travel to the OUT Maine office in Rockland 2-4 times a month. Some statewide travel may be required on occasion. Evening and weekend hours may be required for special events that are scheduled in advance.
- Must pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary from $45,000 – $49,000, based on experience. 3 weeks paid vacation and 2 weeks of sick leave; 14 paid holidays; 100% employer-paid health insurance (employee only); employer-paid short-term disability insurance; retirement contribution plan; and optional dental coverage.
