We support, educate, and empower queer youth in partnership with their allies and families.

Feeling sad or hopeless

LGBT students are more than twice as likely to feel sad or hopeless for two or more weeks in the past year.

Mental health issues

Nearly half of LGBT students have long-term emotional or behavioral problems expected to last 6 months or more.

Risk of suicide

In Maine, 41% of LBGT teens seriously considered suicide in the past 12 months. That is 2,800 LGBT students! That's enough to fill 58 school buses.
