Building Welcoming and Affirming Communities for LGBTQ+ Youth (Portland)

This training will take place in Portland on June 17th. Exact location will be shared the week of the event.

Do you want to hang up a rainbow flag, but are unsure if your space and the people in it are currently equipped to support LGBTQIA2S+ youth? Are your business’s policies up to date? Is your community space considered “inclusive”? This training will provide participants with an overview of terminology, rights, and laws regarding the support and protection of queer and trans youth. We’ll focus on how to create a welcoming and supportive workplace and/or public community setting, and how to back up that “safe space” sticker and rainbow flag with real, tangible actions.

CEU certificates and CME/CEU credits will be available by request. Open to the public, no matter your field, area of expertise, or prior knowledge!
