Together Today, Together Tomorrow

The OUT Maine Alumni Network is for anyone 21 or older who participated in an OUT Maine program as a youth.

The purpose of the Alumni Network is to:

  1. keep members engaged in OUT Maine’s Mission to create a more welcoming and affirming Maine for LGBTQIA2S+ youth,
  2. create a professional social network for queer and allied adults, and
  3. help build OUT Maine’s hub-and-spoke network (goal #1 of our Strategic Plan).

Are you an old-timer? Here is a little history to help you remember if you were in one of our programs:

1996-2016: Out as I Want to Be was a drop-in program in Rockland, Maine. Renamed OUT Maine in 2016 when the programs became state-wide.

2007-2018: Rainbow Ball Weekend was hosted by University of Maine at Machias’ 100% Society. OUT Maine took over the hosting the event in 2019. However, our alumni invitation extends to ALL Rainbow Ball Weekend participants and organizers!
