Ongoing Pride Events 11-4

We are excited to be a part of Rockland’s Sunday Stroll! Pride Events located on Main Street between Tilson and Winter Street. Free food, crafts, games and more.

Stop by the “Rest Nest” on Museum St for a self-care sanctuary and sensory retreat, helping to make the day more accessible and encourage community care.

Live Music at Speak-Out Stage 

11:00 Kate Fiano: Singer, songwriter

12:00 small-mouth BĀSS: chaotic strings

1:00 Huddled Masses Orchestra: Serbian Brass Band

2:00 Parade: Meet us at the CMCA Courtyard on Winter Street for an out-of-this-world experience. Costumes and creativity encouraged. All welcome, but no motorized vehicles. Parade route travels up and down Main Street between Winter and Limerock.

3:00 Speak-Out  Raise your voices at the Speak-Out Stage. Youth and elders from the LGBTQIA+ community encouraged to share.

Activities include Pride-themed crafts, Uprising Education with OUTMaine, Touch Tank from Herring Gut, PhotoBooth with Farnsworth, Safety and Medical Care Tent with Rockland Pride Safety Team, “Sparkling Safely” Covid-mask adornment, face painting and more!

Rest Nest 

11-4 on Museum Street.  A self care sanctuary and sensory retreat, helping to make Pride more accessible and encourage community care. There will be a Book Nook, art materials for inner expression, healing practitioners, a meditation area, free tea, and an Herbal Share Shelf. Volunteers can read aloud to kids or do art with them so that solo caregivers can still come in and relax. Headphones, ear plugs, eye pillows and weighted blankets will be available. Come rest in community.
