Rainbow Ball is LGBTQ+ teens connecting from around the state for community, festivities and fun!

All activities will be virtual this year. Instead of one weekend of fun, the celebrations will run from mid-March through mid-May!

Do you like theater? Creating art? Writing poetry? Sharing a talent? If so, you will want to sign up right away. All teens ages 13 – 17 are welcome. Sign up for a activity below.

The activities: pick one of the following:

Gender expression through drag! We are going to question and explore gender stereotypes while learning how to use makeup and clothing (from local performers!) to create our own gender expression!

Workshops on Wednesdays from 4-5pm March 10th through April 28th.

Virtual showcase Wednesday April 7th from 4-5 pm (optional to perform, everyone is welcome to watch.)

Sound like Shakespeare? Explore the history of monologues from the queer perspective while rehearsing your own performance! (Spoiler alert, “Not Too Gay” is always the answer!)

Virtual showcase Wednesday, April 14th 4-5pm (optional to perform, everyone is welcome to watch).

Embrace extravagance by learning basic figure drawing with a local drag queen and challenge social norms by exploring the landscape they live in! Creations will culminate in an online gallery tour and will be put up on our website!

These events celebrate SPEAKING OUT! Throughout the month of March, these youth will all have explored gender, expression, and creativity. This is YOUR chance to share in what they have created! Come, speak OUT, and enjoy yourself!

Open to youth, advisors and adult allies. Attend one, or all three!

April 7th 4-5pm - Drag OUT and express it!

April 14th 4-5pm - Too Gay…? Or Not Too Gay…? That is the Question (monologues).

April 28th 4-5pm- Figure It Out, Queen! Art Exhibit & Passion Showcase.
