Queer Quills Writing Program

OUT Maine is introducing a new online writing group, Queers and Quills! This program gives young writers the opportunity to explore multiple genres of storytelling through a seven week program aimed at honing their voices, tapping into their creativity, and providing them the artistic and communal support to share their words with the world. While beginning with a base curriculum, all youth participants will maintain influence over the program’s focuses, thereby fostering a student-led environment where youth determine what genres they wish to explore and what stories they wish to tell.
