logo WERU FM 89.9 Blue Hill, 102.9 Bangor, is proud to announce that the successful program, Living Queer Here, is on at 10-11 AM on the 4th Thursday. Living Queer Here, or LQH, debuted in July 2005 as and news and culture magazine exploring full range of life created and experienced by the Queer community here in Maine. It invites the participation of all who are queer, friends and families of queers and those who support LQH in Maine. The show has such regular features as Queer News, Artist's Corner, Queers in History and the very popular Queer Trivial Pursuit question in which callers who answer the question correctly win fabulous prizes such as the DVD of Brokeback Mountain or a music CD. Past shows have included everything from a live debate with Michael Heath and the Rev Ralph Moore over the gay rights amendment to an analysis of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer as a significant character to gay children. Join us on May 28, 2006 at 10:00 pm to find out more about LQH. Hosted by Gail Mackinson and Cynthia Montgomery.
